Tjaša Cankar is a doctoral candidate and project associate at the Institute for Cultural and Memory Studies. She researches the complexity of institutional change, the process of policy institutionalization, policy mobility in different geopolitical contexts and the 'Europeanisation' of (South) Eastern Europe. She has actively participated in several European Commission projects, from H2020 to Erasmus+ initiatives, where she has contributed to institutional capacity building and strategic planning of gender equality policies. She also participated in a project in cooperation with the Slovenian and Icelandic Ministries of Foreign Affairs, which dealt with equal opportunities issues in diplomacy in Slovenia and Iceland. She is also a researcher at the IEDC - Bled School of Management, where she works on gender equality and equal opportunities in business and management education.
