The volume, dedicated to singing activism in the post-Yugoslav space, represents a distinctive intertwining of theory and practice. With this book, we aim to offer a deeper insight into vocal engagement that, through shared goals and emotions, creates a space for collective action. Alongside scholarly contributions, the volume therefore includes a songbook featuring around sixty song lyrics from the repertoire of Choir Praksa, which this year celebrates its tenth anniversary. In an effort to enable others to join choral singing with their own voices—in critiquing the present and struggling for a better future—the songbook also includes accompanying QR links to their performances.
